Quilts
I took a photo in my backyard meadow that captured a small clearing in an otherwise typical field of wild summer growth. I could feel the energy of whatever creature(s) had left their mark there, imagining deer being drawn out of the woods to make their bed and bask in the open sky above the meadow as they slept. This image, and the energy behind it, was the start of a new series of quilts to explore a relationship between what is seen and unseen in any moment.
